Welcome to the East County Rose Society (ECRS) web page. We are located just east of San Diego, CA in the foothills. The rose society currently has over 250 members and is growing. Our membership is not limited to the East San Diego area. We currently have members from all over San Diego and welcome anyone who wants to join us to learn more about growing roses.

Meetings: Meetings are held on the first Sunday of the month and begin at 2:00. The society meets at the homes of members--check the calendar for the next meeting location. We meet monthly except for July and August. The meetings are open to the public and everyone is welcome. For more information click on Contact Us. The cost of membership is $20.00 per year per household.

June Meeting: Sunday, June 6, 2010. Time - 2:00 to 4:00. You be the judge. Sally Long and Miriam Yoder are experienced judges and will share their knowledge about judging with us. Then, the fun part! You will put that new knowledge to work and experience the thrill of judging a 'rose show' that they will set up for us. This program cannot be missed by those who exhibit roses – or are considering exhibiting roses. You will receive valuable pointers on what judges are looking for, in a fun and friendly venue. And of course, if you have ever considered being a judge, here is your opportunity to see what it is like.Don't forget to bring a chair.

See you there.
